The Society of Merchant Venturers is an organisation with a membership of talented men and women from across the greater Bristol area.

The Society has been involved in caring for older people in Bristol for over 350 years. This includes operating Almshouses across the city and the management of the very substantial endowment of the St Monica Trust.

The experience, skills and tenacity of the trustee ensures the rigorous management and the long term future of the Charity.
