Accommodation

Cote House can accommodate 18 residents in five double and eight single flats.  Many of the rooms have views of the garden and the Bristol Channel. Facilities include:

  • En-suite with easy access bath and/or shower
  • Kitchenette with cooker, fridge and microwave point
  • Individually controlled central heating
  • Call bell system
  • TV point and private phone socket

Lunch is provided daily in the dining room - a popular feature of communal life at Cote House. There is also a guest room which is available for friends and relatives.

The combination of home comforts amidst the elegant surroundings of Cote House includes:

  • Fine drawing room with TV and VCR. Garden views to enjoy
  • Dining room which also overlooks the garden
  • Launderette with washers and dryers
  • Payphone

Gardens

Cote House is set in beautiful countryside close to Bristol`s Durdham Downs.  The house has its own spacious grounds which include beautiful gardens with well maintained lawns and flower borders plus interesting walkways.

There is also an orangery and many quiet areas where, weather permitting, residents can sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

I heard about Cote House through some friends who were living here at the time, my wife and I arrived here in September 1994. Sadly my wife passed away this year but the support and caring nature of the staff has been tremendous.
